Not a website. Her eye, on screen.
One of Spain’s best wedding filmmakers was sitting on a template that looked like everyone else’s. Pacing and restraint carry her authorship instead.
About
Bebi Puig-Pey is one of the best wedding filmmakers working in Spain, and her portfolio looked like every other videographer’s template: a grid, a hero reel, a contact form.
The brief was not a website. It was putting her eye on screen. Her films are built on pacing and restraint, so the site had to do the same thing with space and timing instead of footage.
It opens on her signature, alone on white, and makes you wait a beat. There is no metric on this project and I am not going to invent one. What it does is read like her work before a single video plays.

Every instinct on a portfolio is to add: more work, more words, a bigger reel. The whole job here was removing things until only her timing was left.
She was right and I was wrong
Martín
I wanted the showreel playing the second the page opened. She said no — make them wait. Her signature alone on white for a beat, then the work. It is the best decision on that site and it is not mine.
